Dexter (36) the Dog needs a home
This puppy was rescue from the kill list with its mommy, Stella, through our "Love of Mommies" program.The very dashing and debonair Dexter is ready for a home! This handsome guy is a big love bug. He is a laid back boy that gets along well with other dogs in play group at the shelter. Dexter's previous owner says that he is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs and children. Looking for a family dog? ADOPT Dexter! Dexter recently spent some time in a foster home. Here is what his foster mom has to say: "He is great and easy going in our apartment. He's docile and responsive to us. He plays well with Lennon (their dog), and there haven't been any toy sharing issues between them. He's treat and praise motivated whenever I work on obedience commands in the house with him and Lennon (sit, lay down, stay, come). He can be a little reluctant to go in his crate but he'll go with a nudge, so we've been feeding him in there and making sure he finds a treat or two and fun toys in there.
